Sub-institute of Analytical Chemistry（SIAC） is one of the oldest departments in Beijing General Research Institute of Mining & Metallurgy, which was founded in 1965 and has excellent technical competence. It was certificated by China National Accreditation Board for Laboratories in April 2001, with the certificate serial number of CNACL/LR-2001-469. SIAC has high level of R & D competence in inorganic, organic and environmental samples analysis, and follows the international standards for testing laboratory management. It is engaged in the research of analytical methods and testing services for raw minerals，metallic ores，nonferrous metals，and intermediate and final products of ore dressing and metallurgy． Owing to good reputation in China for its advanced techniques and reliable analytical data，SIAC has been trusted by the government to run several national organizations with its staff and facilities，the SQIC-NFM （State Quality Inspection Center for Heavy Non-ferrous Metals Products）and the SIL- NFM（State Inspection Laboratory for Non-ferrous Metals I/E Products）Lots of accurate data have been provided for arbitrating international traded disputes since their foundation.
